Wrong Chemotherapy Drug Administered to Cancer Patient
A new incident of wrong medication administration occurred at a public hospital, this time involving a cancer patient undergoing chemotherapy.
The incident took place at the Larissa University hospital, where a nurse realized the mistake halfway through the chemotherapy and alerted the doctors.
The doctors reportedly estimate that there will be no complications in the woman’s health.
The patient has been transferred to another facility for further testing.
