Patrick Reed of 4Aces GC rebounded well after a 1-under 71 in Round 1, carding a 4-under 68 in Round 2, and is tied for 40th. Tom McKibbin from Legion XIII, fresh off a win at last week's Link Hong Kong Open, posted scores of 75 and 69, placing him further behind the leaders.
Legion XIII's Caleb Surratt remains a strong contender, tied for second place entering the weekend. Surratt shot 4-under 68 in Round 2 after a first-round 6-under 66, just two shots behind leader Soomin Lee.
Talor Gooch from Smash GCs and Thomas Pieters of 4Aces GC are tied for 15th, trailing by four shots. Anthony Kim, the 2025 LIV Golf Wild Card player, is playing well, tied for 24th after rounds of 4-under 68 and 3-under 69, five shots off the lead. Paul Casey from Crushers GC sits tied for 50th after shooting a 2-under 70.
