The Sarnia Sting took on the Brantford Bulldogs, the No. 1 team in the Canadian Hockey League, and despite losing 3-1, they put up a good fight in front of 3,035 fans at Progressive Auto Sales Arena.
“You see Brantford coming in, you know they’re at the top of their conference … and you know it’s going to be a good fight,”
said Sting goalie Patrick Quinlan. The Sting were coming off a successful weekend, having taken three of four points from the No. 4 Windsor Spitfires, the Western Conference leaders.
“That was really big for us,”
said Sting forward Ryan Brown.
