Israel Calls on Ghana to Demand Hamas Disarmament
Israel's Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Roey Gilad, has appealed to the Ghanaian government to use its influence in Africa to pressure Hamas into disarming.

- Ambassador Gilad stressed that the future of Gaza and Israel's security depend on Hamas' commitment to lay down its weapons.

The Ambassador noted Ghana's commitment to stability through its participation in the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), with an estimated 850-strong peacekeeping battalion.
