Forever Canadian Petition
A petition to keep Alberta in Canada, led by former Progressive Conservative cabinet minister Thomas Lukaszuk, has reportedly collected over 300,000 signatures.
The "Unity Bus" tour, which aims to collect signatures for the Forever Canadian petition, asks a simple question:
Do you agree that Alberta should remain in Canada?
- The petition requires 293,976 in-person signatures to be approved and sent to an MLA committee for consideration of a province-wide referendum.
