President Donald Trump has pardoned Changpeng Zhao, one of Canada's richest businessmen and co-founder of Binance.
Zhao pleaded guilty to charges related to money laundering and served four months in prison last year, according to Politico.
- He founded Binance in 2017 and was its CEO until 2023.
- He is currently ranked 21 on Forbes' real-time billionaires list with a net worth of US$85.6 billion.
