Bangladesh is at a critical juncture, needing to rebuild institutions, global standing, and change its reputation narrative.
It is disappointing that high-ranking officials are undermining this effort by violating foreign travel directives, which is embarrassing for the country.
Rules continue to be optional for those in power
This repeated violation by senior officials, including advisers and secretaries, reflects poorly on the entire nation.
