Alec Baldwin has assured fans he is "fine" after crashing his car into a "big fat tree" in the Hamptons.
The accident occurred when he swerved to avoid a rubbish collection lorry, while he was with his brother, actor Stephen Baldwin.
"I was in a car accident this morning, I'm fine. My brother Stephen was visiting me on Long Island and we spent the weekend out there for the film festival [the Hamptons International Film Festival]."
The incident happened during the Hamptons International Film Festival, where Baldwin was attending with his brother.
