Bradley Beal Reflects on Time with Suns and Future Plans
Bradley Beal returned to Phoenix on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025, offering his first public comments since agreeing to a buyout with the Phoenix Suns in mid-July and joining the Los Angeles Clippers. Although uncertain about the narrative of his Suns tenure, Beal acknowledged there was a story to tell after reflecting on the past four months.
Beal played a key role in the Suns' difficult decline over the last two seasons. "You reflect for sure. Everybody did their ‘what if’s’ but you can’t live in the past, you can’t live in those moments. Obviously, we could have had something special, but it didn’t happen. Didn’t work, and we all moved on."
Beal acknowledged the lasting uncertainty surrounding the Suns' unfinished potential but expressed optimism about the future for himself and his former teammates.
"It’s probably gonna be a big ‘what if?’ story forever but at the end of the day, everybody has a story, everything happens for a reason and I’m excited with where I am and I’m sure Book’s excited for his team and I’m sure K is excited for his situation."
