A Conservative member of Parliament, Matt Jeneroux, MP for Edmonton Riverbend, has announced his resignation. This news comes just days after another Conservative caucus member crossed the floor to join the Liberals.
In a letter, Jeneroux described his decision as “not an easy decision” but stated he believes it is the “right one.”
Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre said on social media that Jeneroux plans to step down as a member of Parliament next spring.
