Lego announced its inaugural Star Trek set, a detailed recreation of the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D from Star Trek: The Next Generation. This 3,600-piece model will be released on November 28, 2025, priced at $399.99 and recommended for builders aged 18 and older.
The Enterprise D, featured prominently in The Next Generation TV series (1987–1994) and the 1994 film Star Trek: Generations, is captured with iconic elements including the saucer section, secondary hull, and warp nacelles, enhanced by red and blue accents.
To mark the release, Lego and Paramount Products & Experiences will hold events on Black Friday, including a meet-and-greet with the set designer Hans Burkhand Schlömer at the Lego Store in London’s Leicester Square.
"Fans who purchase the set before December 1 will receive a bonus Type-15 Federation shuttlepod named Onizuka — a tribute to astronaut Ellison Onizuka, who died in the 1986 Challenger disaster."
This release commemorates both the beloved series and astronaut Ellison Onizuka, linking Star Trek's legacy with real-world space history.
Author's summary: Lego’s first Star Trek set brilliantly recreates the USS Enterprise D, combining intricate design and exclusive launch events, honoring both sci-fi and space exploration history.
