Leeds Bus Diversions and Roadwork Updates
Motorists in Leeds will experience disruptions caused by roadworks on the А64 эстакада. Starting Monday, November 3, from 7pm to 6am, the A64 Flyover, New York Road, and Marsh Lane slip road will be affected.
Bus Service Changes
- Service 7 (THE) towards Leeds Bus Station will divert via Marsh Lane and York Street.
- Service 7 towards Harrogate will divert through St Peter’s Street, Duke Street, and Marsh Lane.
- The Victoria L bus stop on Vicar Lane will be temporarily closed during these works.
- First Bus number 7 will divert via Scott Hall Road and Stainbeck Lane in both directions during roadworks on Potternewton Lane from November 3 to 18, between 9.30am and 3.30pm daily.
Additional Road Closures and Disruptions
- Potternewton Lane, Potternewton, will be closed for roadworks from November 3 to 18 during daytime hours.
- Station Road bridge in Cross Gates is undergoing demolition and rebuilding, causing ongoing closures and bus diversions.
- The Farsley ring road, from Dawsons Corner roundabout to Rodley roundabout, will close from 8pm to 5am on November 3 and 4.
- Disruptions around Dawsons Corner and Stanningley Bypass will continue until May 2026.
- The closure of Wide Lane slip road in Morley has been extended by 12 weeks, remaining until November 30, with bus services 65, 200, and 201 diverting accordingly.
Reopenings
Station Road in Kippax has reopened following completion of roadworks. Additionally, the closure of Branch Road in Lower Wortley is scheduled to end on Friday, November 7.
