Hilary Duff has officially returned to music with her first new single in a decade. The singer and actress, 38, announced on November 3 that the track, called “Mature,” will be released on Thursday, November 6.
“So happy this is finally yours to hear,” Duff shared on Instagram with the single’s cover art. “Been keeping this one quiet too long. My new single Mature is out Nov 6.”
Earlier this year, Duff signed a new record deal with Atlantic Records. Fans quickly noticed a countdown timer on her official website over the weekend, which hinted at the announcement. She also shared a link to her site through her Instagram Stories without offering additional details.
In September, Duff confirmed she was back in the studio working on new music. Alongside that news, a press release revealed a forthcoming docuseries chronicling her creative comeback and personal life.
“Embracing the ups, downs and everything in between, fans will ride shotgun as she balances raising a family, recording new music, live show rehearsals and preparing to perform on stage for the first time in over a decade,” the release stated.
Hilary Duff celebrates her long-awaited return to music with her upcoming single “Mature,” marking her first release in 10 years and a new chapter under Atlantic Records.
