Hilary Duff Announces 'Mature' — Her First Single in a Decade

Hilary Duff is stepping back into the music world with her first single in ten years. The actress and singer confirmed that her new track, titled "Mature," will be released in November.

Hilary Duff recently promised fans that new music would arrive “in the blink of an eye” — and she wasn’t joking.

"Mature" is her first single since "Sparks," which appeared on her 2015 album Breathe In. The artwork for the new single shows three overlapping images of Duff with the title written in pink. After weeks of teasing fans online, she officially announced her comeback in September following her signing with Atlantic Records.

The announcement thrilled her fanbase, causing a major resurgence of interest — Rolling Stone noted a 400% increase in Spotify searches for her older tracks after the news dropped.

Upcoming Projects

Alongside her musical comeback, Duff will appear in a forthcoming docuseries capturing her creative process as she records and prepares for her first performances in a decade. The series will be directed by Sam Wrench, known for his work on Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour and A Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter. Duff has also been collaborating in the studio with her husband, musician and producer Matthew Koma, who contributed to her previous album Breathe In.
