Aberdeen City Council has agreed in principle to make an additional payment to private homeowners affected by Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC) in Aberdeen.
The payment is intended to reflect the impact of RAAC on the market value of their properties, should they choose to sell voluntarily to the Council.
This payment will be made in addition to the existing market value, legal, and professional fee payments.
The agreement is subject to compliance with the Council's statutory duties.
