Troy Deeney is confused by the revisionism surrounding one Arsenal player after the Gunners' 4-0 win over Atletico Madrid.
Arsenal's victory, which included goals from Gabriel Magalhaes, Gabriel Martinelli, and a brace from Viktor Gyokeres, moved them up to fourth in the Champions League League Phase table.
Gyokeres, who was signed for £63 million in the summer, had struggled in certain games and was in need of a goal prior to the Atletico clash, having netted just three times in eleven appearances.
Deeney believes the praise for Gyokeres has gone overboard.
