Tuolumne County District Attorney's Office Secures Additional Grant Funding

The Tuolumne County District Attorney's Office has announced that it will receive additional state funding to continue its work, following a successful first year of its DUI Prosecution Unit.

With 325 convictions, the unit, which consists of just one experienced prosecutor, has achieved a notable success rate. The initial state funding of $208,238, which was granted in October 2024, has expired, but the office has now been awarded a renewed grant of $245,335 for the 2025-2026 grant year.

"The District Attorney's Office is excited to continue our specialized focus on improving roadway safety through the next grant year,"

According to the District Attorney's Office, this additional funding will enable the unit to continue its work in improving roadway safety.
