Exclusive Footage: ICE Vehicle Rear-Ends Community Observer's Truck
Dashboard camera footage obtained by L.A. TACO reveals an ICE vehicle rear-ending a truck driven by Leonardo Espartaco Martinez, a community advocate and VC Defensa observer.
The incident occurred on Thursday, October 16, on Pacific Ave. in Oxnard. The footage shows Martinez following a grey Jeep SUV at a distance of about four to five car lengths through an industrial area at 7:46 a.m.
According to the video, the ICE vehicle then speeds up and intentionally rams the rear passenger door on the driver's side of Martinez's truck.
The front of the silver Jeep was damaged after rear-ending the truck.
A photo provided by Martinez shows the damaged front of the silver Jeep. The Jeep appears to have pre-existing damage on the passenger side front quarter panel.
