Chiefs Chapel: A New Game Day Tradition
For years, many Chiefs fans had to choose between church and attending games at Arrowhead Stadium on Sundays.
In 2014, Chiefs owner Clark Hunt introduced the Faith and Family Chapel, located next to the southern corner of Arrowhead Stadium.
The Chapel hosts a non-denominational worship service every Sunday morning when the Chiefs have a home game scheduled at noon.
“What started as a simple pregame service has grown into something much bigger,”
said Cedric Hardimon, pastor at Life.Church East Kansas City.
Thanks to dedicated volunteers, Chiefs Chapel now draws larger crowds each week and has become a meaningful part of the game day tradition for many fans.
