Cheyanne and Donald Reichard, a married couple, graduated from Officer Candidate School just a week apart, drawing strength from each other's presence.
After completing Marine Officer Candidates School, Donald Reichard, who graduated on August 9, pinned second lieutenant bars on his wife Cheyanne, a fellow OCS graduate.
They had gone through the course at the same time as the first step toward their goal of becoming Marine Corps judge advocates.
Donald, 28, previously served as a Navy corpsman for over eight years and was inspired to join the Corps after working with Marines. He started training five weeks before his wife and occasionally saw her during training.
