Meta is introducing parental controls for kids' interactions with artificial intelligence chatbots, allowing parents to turn off one-on-one chats with AI characters and block specific bots.
The new features, set to roll out early next year, will provide parents with more control over their children's online interactions. However, Meta's AI assistant will remain available, offering "helpful information and educational opportunities" with default age-appropriate protections in place.
