North Adams Establishes Affordable Housing Trust
North Adams City Council members have unanimously voted to create an affordable housing trust, set to take effect on January 1, 2026.
The trust will require time to be set up, but Councilor Andrew Fitch believes that at least $150,000 in the trust would be sufficient to launch "a meaningful program."
