Airport Intercoms Hacked with Political Rants

Travelers at several airports in the U.S. and Canada were surprised to hear political messages over the intercom systems instead of boarding calls.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announced that an investigation is underway after multiple airport intercom systems were hacked, including one in Pennsylvania.

“This is absolutely unacceptable and understandably scared travelers,”

said Duffy. A video posted on social media showed an announcement at Harrisburg International Airport in Pennsylvania that included the phrase “free Palestine” and derogatory remarks about President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Author's summary: Airports' intercom systems hacked.
