Senators Lose Third Consecutive Game
The Ottawa Senators lost their third consecutive game in a wacky match against the Buffalo Sabres, falling 8-4 at KeyBank Center.
After losing 4-1 to the Nashville Predators on Monday, the Senators were eager to turn their luck around, but it didn't happen. They debuted their new "Ignite the Red" alternate jersey, despite being on the road, and saw Drake Batherson return to the lineup.
However, the Senators received brutal news with Brady Tkachuk out for a significant amount of time. The team was swept in the four-game season series last season and was looking to change their fortune, but the Sabres had other plans.
The loss dropped the Senators to 1-3-0 on the season.
