Carmel Swim Club hosted the first stop of the World Swimming Cup, attracting international fans and media to witness top-class swimming.
The event took place at Carmel High School's Aquatic Center, a relatively new facility that opened last year. Fans like Ruri Lee and her mother Nayeon Jo, who recently moved to Dayton, Ohio from Brisbane, Australia, were in attendance to cheer for the Australian swimmers.
A lot of fun
The international swimming community was already aware of Carmel's reputation as Swim City, having produced Olympic gold medalists and world-class swimmers. The event was a success, with global representation from fans and media.
