In the wake of the horrific attack on September 11, 2001, a joke went around the Black community.
A joke from that time stated that Black people were America's second most hated racial group, as Arabs were perceived as the most hated group at that point.
As the author notes,
if you are Black and reading this, I’m gonna guess that you get the joke instantly, especially if you were alive for 9/11.
