Memories: Bringing History to Life
According to my American Heritage dictionary, history is a record of past happenings ranging from many years ago to yesterday.
The definition of history became clear when I mentored 11th grade Humanities students teaching history to area fifth graders at the History Center of Freeborn County.
For three days, we Discovered History, including grade schoolers, high schoolers, and adult volunteers.
