Clough-Ballacolla's Willie Dunphy Aims for Eighth Laois GAA SHC Medal
Willie Dunphy, a stalwart of Clough-Ballacolla, is on the lookout for his eighth Laois GAA SHC medal this Sunday.
Dunphy won his first medal in 2009 and has since become a key player in the club's success.
We certainly didn't think it was going to be easy either. Having looked at Ballinakill all year, they were very impressive in most of their games, so it wasn't a team that we were going to take for granted anyway.
Reflecting on their semi-final victory over Ballinakill, Dunphy noted that his team didn't make life easy for themselves with the number of wides they hit.
The team is preparing for the County Finals, with Dunphy looking to claim his eighth medal from 11 finals, including replays.
