However, Foxconn denied this claim, stating that "no new investments were discussed" during a meeting with Chief Minister MK Stalin and other officials.

According to the statement issued to the Times of India, Foxconn's India representative Robert Wu had a meeting with officials on Monday, but no new investments were discussed.

This denial comes a day after Minister Rajaa's claim on social media platform X, which stated that Foxconn's investment would lead to significant job creation.
