Revenues at McVitie's owner Pladis have surged past £3bn, driven by product innovation and increasing business overseas, resulting in a record year.
The London-headquartered company, which operates 27 factories worldwide, saw its top line increase by 17% to £3.2bn in the year ended 31 December 2024.
Pladis attributed the results to double-digit growth in international markets and
“strong” consumer demands for its snacks.
New product introductions, such as 'Cola Bottle' flavoured Jaffa Cakes and a new range of Jacob's Bites, contributed to the company's success.
Author's summary: Pladis achieves record sales of £3.2bn in 2024.
