The road transport department (JPJ) has updated its vehicle registration data up until September 30, 2025.
Perodua leads with 23,394 units, bringing its year-to-date (YTD) total to 255,094 units. Proton took the second spot with 12,572 units, breaking through the 100,000-unit barrier with a YTD total of 110,150 units. Toyota is in third with 10,380 units, bringing its YTD total to 90,871 units.
Other notable mentions include Chery rising to fifth and Tesla to ninth.
