Review: Mason Macro frameset
The Mason Macro is an adventure hardtail designed for bikepacking events like the Dales Divide.
Guy Kesteven tested the Macro, which is the 10th bike in the Mason range, launched on the UK brand's 10th birthday.
The £1,500 handmade Italian frame can be completed with a mix of gravel and MTB components, or purchased as a complete Shimano or SRAM bike build from £3,000.
The frame features five layers of coating, including internal and external corrosion proofing, and a flawless finish.
