Cybersecurity Experts Charged with Running BlackCat Ransomware Operation
Three cybersecurity professionals have been charged with secretly running a ransomware operation, deploying ALPHV BlackCat malware against at least five US companies.
Ryan Clifford Goldberg, 33, and Kevin Tyler Martin, 28, were named in an indictment filed in the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida on October 2. A third conspirator remained unnamed.
