Teenager in Custody After Fatal Shooting in Northwest Harris County
A 15-year-old suspect is in custody after a teenage boy was shot and killed in northwest Harris County on Monday afternoon, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
Investigators believe the shooting may have stemmed from a drug transaction, but a motive has not been found. The incident occurred near an apartment complex on Bammel N. Houston, shortly before 3 p.m.
The suspect was detained inside the apartment complex where the shooting took place.
Sheriff Ed Gonzalez stated that CPR was administered to the victim, but he died at the scene.
Authorities have not released the identity of the suspect or the victim. The incident is currently under investigation.
