BYD is expanding its product lineup in Australia, introducing new segments, including a teeny electric city hatchback and large luxurious plug-in hybrid (PHEV) off-road SUVs under the Denza brand.
The 2026 BYD Sealion 8, a seven-seat SUV, aims to cater to Australian families with two or more kids, rivaling the Hyundai Santa Fe, Kia Sorento, and Toyota Kluger.
Although pricing details are not yet available, the Sealion 8 is expected to arrive in local showrooms early next year.
BYD is drip-feeding information, so we're not quite clear on how much the Sealion 8 will cost.
