West Side Nut Club Hosts Annual Cleanup Following Fall Festival
After 6 days of fun and a final half-pot total of over $2.5 million, it's time to clean up the mess.
Officials report that many booths had record sales, with the proceeds going to various organizations in the Tri-State.
The cleanup process involved around 300 active West Side Nut Club members and 100 honorary members.
“It comes and goes, it’s a little tough sometimes depending on the number of people and that kind of thing, but most of the time it’s smooth,”
stated a helper from Matthew’s Church, who has assisted with moving their trailer for over 20 years.
The West Side Nut Club's efforts ensure a smooth transition from the festival to the cleanup.
