Wins for Fenland Teams on the Road
It was a great day for Fenland’s three teams playing away from home, with all recording wins.
March Town had a 6-0 victory at Leicester Nirvana, Wisbech Town won 2-1 at AFC Mansfield, and Whittlesey Athletic won 3-0 at Lesiton U23s, while Parson Drove drew 1-1 at home to Halesworth Town.
March Town's Terrific Win
In the United Counties Premier South, March had a terrific win at 14th-placed Leicester Nirvana.
Ben Tait gave The Hares an 18th-minute lead, Matthew Foy made it 2-0 ten minutes later, Flo Tsaguim made it three in the 43rd minute, and James Hill-Seekings scored the fourth in first-half stoppage time.
Further goals after the break from Rio Henson and a second for Hill-Seekings gave Ash Taylor’s a sixth league away win on the bounce, in which they have scored 19 goals and conceded just two.
