Australian sailors achieved personal bests at the 2025 World Championships in Sardinia, showcasing their potential for LA 2028.
The championships featured a range of conditions, from light airs to heavy breeze, as the 49er, 49erFX, and Nacra 17 classes came to a close.
“That’s our best result at a World Championships,” shared Brown. “Previously we’ve got a 20th, a 19th, and an 18th, and now we’ve jumped to fourth, so it’s quite a nice incline and hopefully we can get into first for the next one.”
