Sports Academy for Tribal Students to be Approved
Tribal Development Minister Dr. Ashok Uike announced that a sports academy for tribal students will be approved this year.
The academy aims to train around 600 students from Maharashtra to produce international-level players, leveraging the various qualities that students from the tribal community possess.
A sports academy will be started in the state to give them a platform.
The announcement was made at the inauguration of a three-day state-level sports competition at the Late Minatai Thackeray Stadium in Panchavati.
- MP Dr. Shobha Bachhav, MLA Nitin Pawar, and other dignitaries were present at the event.
- The competition was organized by the Maharashtra Tribal Janjatiya Janseva School Sanstha.
