Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets Seek Win Over Beach
The Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets entered the 2025 season with high expectations, following a 10-3 record and a state quarterfinals appearance.
Despite returning several starters, including skilled position players, the team lost to Long County 43-21, their widest margin of the season.
"I feel like everyone is frustrated and disappointed after the loss to Long County," said coach Jared Zito. "Credit to Long County as they played hard and executed at a high level. We played well at times but we were just not consistent."
The Yellow Jackets aim to end the regular season with a win over Beach in Brooklet, as they still have a slight chance of securing a playoff berth.
