Romero Elementary stage shines with creativity at pumpkin decorating contest
The stage inside Romero Elementary School’s cafeteria was transformed into a dazzling display of autumn artistry as students from all grade levels showcased their talents in the school’s annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest.
Rows of colorful pumpkins covered the stage, turning the cafeteria into a fall wonderland filled with laughter, excitement, and the warm spirit of creativity. Designs included candy corn puffer fish pumpkins, mini Dunkin’ Donuts-inspired pumpkins, and a beautifully decorated Day of the Dead pumpkin.
“It’s incredible to see how much effort and imagination the kids put into their pumpkins,”
one teacher shared. Students and staff gathered around the stage, admiring each creative entry. Students walked up to the stage to spot their pumpkins and cheer for their classmates.
