WiseTech Global Under Pressure
Major superannuation funds and shareholder groups are urging WiseTech to rebuild investor trust after its headquarters were raided by the corporate regulator.
WiseTech Global is under pressure to appoint genuinely independent directors who can stand up to the company’s billionaire founder, Richard White.
Deanne Stewart, chief executive of Aware Super, said the $200 billion fund had written to the board of WiseTech, “to ensure our expectations are known, and appropriate governance controls are in place”.
Aware Super, one of Australia’s largest superannuation funds, has taken a step to ensure its expectations are met.
