Greece and Cyprus have been formally invited by U.S. President Donald Trump to a Gaza peace summit in Egypt on October 13.
The invitations were extended to Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides to take part in the high-level summit in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.
The conference is being organized amid heightened international concern over the worsening humanitarian crisis and ongoing conflict in Gaza.
It will be chaired by US President Donald Trump and President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of Egypt, with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in attendance.
