Discovery Princess Arrives in Southeast Asia
Princess Cruises' newest Royal-Class ship, Discovery Princess, made her maiden call to Singapore on 28 October 2025, at the Marina Bay Cruise Centre.
The ship embarked on a five-day inaugural cruise to Port Klang (Kuala Lumpur), Penang, and Langkawi before returning to Singapore on 2 November for a month-long dry dock.
Launched in March 2022, Discovery Princess accommodates 3,660 guests and 1,300 crew, featuring 1,800 staterooms, including more than 1,400 with balconies.
- Discovery Princess will sail to Australia for her first homeporting season in Sydney (6 December 2025 – 7 April 2026).
- She will offer over 20 itineraries around Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific.
- Her voyage will celebrate Princess Cruises' 50th anniversary of operations from Australia.
Discovery Princess boasts Princess' largest balconies at sea, offering sweeping 270° views in its Sky Suites.
