The Salvation Army's 'Coats for Kids' Drive
The Salvation Army's 'Coats for Kids' program, in partnership with WTOV9 and Cedar One Realty Group, is hosting a free coat distribution in three Northern Panhandle counties.
- Moundsville Salvation Army: Thursday, 9 a.m.
- Ohio County: Friday, 9 a.m. - 7:30 p.m., with a trunk or treat at 6 p.m.
- Sistersville Fire Station: serving Tyler and Wetzel counties, date in November
"We don’t want to see any kid go without a warm coat this winter,” - Lt. John Lawrence, of The Salvation Army
Lt. Lawrence emphasizes the challenges of winter expenses, saying "The hardest thing during this time is you have all those other bills mounting up."
