George Cox Joins Worthing After Five Months Without a Club
Former Swindon Town defender George Cox has made a surprise move to National League South outfit Worthing.
After leaving Swindon at the end of last season, Cox secured a new club, joining National League South playoff chasers Worthing.
Cox made 26 appearances in League Two last season, setting up four goals and scoring two, including a pivotal penalty against Colchester United on New Year's Day.
Despite a strong season with Swindon, Cox will now play in the sixth tier after training with the club while searching for a new team.
