Liverpool Decline Pre-Match Press Conference
Liverpool will not hold a pre-match press conference before their Carabao Cup tie with Crystal Palace, a trend seen earlier in the season.
The club is not obligated to hold a press conference, as per Carabao Cup rules, which only require a player and the head coach to be available for interviews if the fixture is selected for broadcast.
However, Liverpool manager Arne Slot is expected to hold a Q&A session with a Sky Sports reporter, as the match will be broadcast live on Wednesday.
No official statement has been released by the club regarding the decision.
Liverpool supporters are accustomed to hearing from their manager before and after every fixture, but this will not be the case ahead of the Palace cup tie.
