Arkansas Baseball Tops Little Rock in Exhibition Game
Arkansas baseball defeated Little Rock 8-1 in an exhibition game on Friday night at Baum-Walker Stadium, led by home runs from Maika Niu and TJ Pompey.
Niu's grand slam in the bottom of the fifth inning put the Razorbacks in command, traveling 373 feet and exiting his bat at 103 mph.
“He's really taken to the outfield and he can beat you in so many ways,” Arkansas coach Dave Van Horn said of Niu. “He's got a lot of tools.”
The Razorbacks will play Dallas Baptist on Saturday at 1 p.m. to close out their exhibition weekend.
