Yorgos Lanthimos Needs a Break from Filmmaking
After releasing his third consecutive award-worthy film with Emma Stone, Yorgos Lanthimos is due for a rest.
Despite intending to take breaks after his previous films, Poor Things (2023) and Kinds of Kindness (2024), Lanthimos admitted he needs "a little break" after Bugonia's release on October 31.
"Well, I can’t keep doing that anymore. [Laughs] That’s what we’re certain of right now... It’s a big mistake. I’ve said that before in between the other three, but I’m serious now. I’m going to take a little break."
