Almost 150,000 people attended the largest Pride march in East Asia, held in Taipei, despite the rain.
"I am more sensitive to the change because I have been participating since the fourth Pride Day until now. Every time I see the participants, I think they are becoming more open and accepting about it, and very supportive. Now, not only the gay community participates in the parade, a lot of non-LGBT individuals and people from other countries have also joined the event, I think this is awesome."
Participants included 37-year-old service industry worker Shane Lin and 35-year-old traveler from the U.S. Tasia Ahuja with her wife.
